License agreement between Kassl GmbH and the holder of the dOPC component license: 

Operating license: 

The Software is licensed, not sold, to You for use only under the terms of this licence agreement, and Kassl GmbH and its licensors reserve any rights not expressly granted to You. Your rights of ownership are limited to the media on which the Software is recorded or fixed. 

Unregistered version: 

You may distribute the unregistered version of software freely, provided that all files are included and remain unmodified and that no extra files have been added to the package. You may not ask any money for the distribution. 

You may use the unregistered version of dOPC free of charge for testing purposes, but if you want to use it for other purposes than testing - you have to register it with the author. 

Registered version: 

Once you have registered, you will receive a personal registered copy via email. This copy may not be copied or lend. You have the non-exclusive right to use registered version of the software only by a single person, on a single computer at a time. You may physically transfer the software from one computer to another, provided that the software is used only by a single person, on a single computer at a time. In group projects where multiple persons will use the software, you must purchase an individual license for each member of the group. Use over a "local area network" (within the same locale) is permitted provided that the software is used only by a single person, on a single computer at a time. Use over a "wide area network" (outside the same locale) is strictly prohibited under any and all circumstances. 

The license of the component gives you the right to: 

+ Using the component for development of applications or any type of software module. 

+ Sell any commercial compiled application with the control, published by the company holding the license. 

+ Make modifications to the source code of component for own use. 

+ Use the component and source code on all development systems used by the developer assigned by the company holding the license. 

+ Sell any number of applications in any quantity without any additional run-time fees required. 

+ Request future versions of the component during the license period of one year after purchase date. After expiry of the registration Kassl GmbH can no longer provide any old version of software, documentation or samples. 

Restrictions: 

- Distributing parts or full source code of any component from Kassl GmbH. 

- Using parts or full source code of components from the Kassl GmbH for creating any type of other components that are distributed or sold with or without source code. 

- Changing the source code of any component from Kassl GmbH and sell or distribute this as a modified product. 

- Creating a descendant compiled product such as OCX, ActiveX, .NET, Web, VCL control and sell or distribute this as a product. 

- Using the control in applications sold with different publisher name than the company holding the license. 

- Transfer the license to another developer. 

- Transfer the license to another company. 

- Using the components by multiple developers in the company holding the license. 

- Installing the components on machines not primarily used by the licensed developer. 

Back-up and transfer: 

You may make one copy of the software solely for "back-up" purposes, as prescribed by international copyright laws. You must reproduce and include the copyright notice on the back-up copy. 

Kassl GmbH is not a backup service and expects backups to be made by the licensed user. 

Terms: 

This license is effective until terminated. You may terminate it by destroying the program, the documentation and copies thereof. This license will also terminate if you fail to comply with any terms or conditions of this agreement. You agree upon such termination to destroy all copies of the program and of the documentation, or return them to author 

Liability disclaimer: 

THE SOFTWARE IS PROVIDED "AS IS", WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO THE WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE AND NONINFRINGEMENT. IN NO EVENT SHALL THE AUTHORS OR COPYRIGHT HOLDERS BE LIABLE FOR ANY CLAIM, DAMAGES OR OTHER LIABILITY, WHETHER IN AN ACTION OF CONTRACT, TORT OR OTHERWISE, ARISING FROM, OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH THE SOFTWARE OR THE USE OR OTHER DEALINGS IN THE SOFTWARE. 

Other rights and restrictions: 

All other rights and restrictions not specifically granted in this license are reserved by author.
